Obituary for Georgene Eleanor Johnson
Georgene Eleanor Johnson, age 91, of Janesville, died Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville. She was born on March 26, 1922, in Janesville, the daughter of George and Nora (Buchert) Berger. Georgene married Charles E. Johnson in 1945 in Janesville. She had been employed at Riverview Clinic for many years, retiring in 1988.
Survivors include her son, Ronald C. Johnson of Cudahy, WI; her daughter, Victoria L. Johnson of Janesville; a brother, Russell G. (Jeanette) Berger of Boise, ID; a sister, Anita Taylor of Warrenton, MO; and four nephews.
At Georgene's request, no services will be held. Memorials may be made to the Rock County Humane Society or Mercy Hospice. Hansen Funeral Home, Janesville, is assisting the family. Online condolences may be made at www.hansenfh.com
