Obituary for Ivan Martin, Jr.
Ivan Martin, Jr., age 87, of Janesville, WI, died on Wednesday, December 04, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Manor in Footville. Ivan was born in Milwaukee, WI, on August 9, 1926, the son of Ivan and Florence (Housefield) Martin, Sr. He married Dorothy Mae Bennett on September 19, 1947, in West Allis, WI. Dorothy died September 11, 2006. Ivan had been employed as a salesman of veterinary pharmaceuticals for many years and also owned the Coast to Coast Hardware store at Creston Park from 1972 to 1976.

Survivors include his children: Michael "Marty" (Lou Ann) Martin of Janesville; Donald (Nancy) Martin of Newburgh, IN; Richard (Ann) Martin of Oak Ridge, TN; eight grandchildren: Brian (Erin), Tim (Kelli), David (fiancee Megan Brown), Erika (fiance Kurt Spahn), Andy (Liza), Lindsay (Kyle) Dodd, Benjamin and Madeline; nine great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert (Shirley) Martin of Indianapolis, IN. Ivan was predeceased by his parents and his wife, Dorothy.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2013, at All Faiths Funeral Chapel, Janesville, with Reverend John Froiland officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be next to his wife, Dorothy, in Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin, WI.
