Obituary for Mildred A. Toler
Mildred Ann “Millie” Toler, age 90, a resident of St. Elizabeth Home in Janesville, WI, and formerly of Edgerton, WI, died Monday, July 11, 2016, at Agrace Center for Hospice and Palliative Care in Janesville. Millie was born on July 4, 1926, in Louisville, KY, the daughter of Viola Goetz. She married Paul E. Toler on May 15, 1976, at the Church by the Side of the Road in Rockton, IL. Paul preceded Millie in death on October 31, 1996. Millie worked at Parker Pen for several years and retired from Oaks Industry in Elkhorn after 22 ½ years of service. She then continued working at Mario’s Pizza in Edgerton for nine years. Millie loved bingo and singing and was known as “the songbird” at St. Elizabeth’s. She loved her large family and enjoyed giving everyone nicknames.

Millie is survived by five children: Robert (Laurie) Schultz of Steuben, WI; Walter (Donna) Sturdivant of Edgerton; Sandra Jacobson of Janesville; Karen Sturdivant of Janesville; Peter (Cinda) Sturdivant of Peru, IN; a daughter-in-law, Carol Schultz of Janesville; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Paul, she was preceded in death by two sons, Eugene “Butch” Schultz and John Schultz, a daughter, Kathy Kern, a half-sister, Florence Smith and a half-brother, Harry Dolan.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 15, 2016, at BETHEL BAPTIST CHURCH, 3300 Mount Zion Ave., Janesville, with Pastor Tim Erickson officiating. Memorial visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the services at the CHURCH on Friday. Final resting place will be Milton Lawns Memorial Park, Janesville. Memorials to Millie may be made to St. Elizabeth Home or Agrace Hospice. The family is being assisted by HANSEN FUNERAL HOME, 211 S. Main St., Janesville, 608-752-8800.
