Obituary for Patricia M. "Pat" Terhaar
Patricia M. "Pat" Terhaar, age 78, a resident of Cedar Crest, died Monday, May 19, 2014, at St. Mary's Hospital in Janesville, WI. She was born in Rockford, Illinois, on June 11, 1935, the daughter of James Henry and Ruth Pearl (Wines) Webb. Pat married Richard Louis Terhaar on May 7, 1960, in San Diego, CA. Rich died in 2002. Pat was proud of her Irish heritage and had a great love of her children. Family was her life's focus and Christmastime was a joyful experience planned for the entire preceding year. Pat believed in angels.
Survivors include Pat's children: David Cameron, Rhonda (Roger) Richter, Bob Drummond, Jean Laurent, Denise (Dan) Lowe, Belinda (Jack) Ray, Jamie Terhaar, Mitchell (Ardith) Terhaar, Gloria (John) Payne and Guyla Miller; 24-plus grandchildren; 35-plus great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; her brother, Paul (Mardell) Marks; her sister, Linda (Barney) Huddleson; and her dear friend and buddy, Marilyn Newcomb. In addition to her husband, Rich, Pat was predeceased by a son, Leonard Cameron; two grandchildren, Mitchie and Michelle; and her sister, Carol.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. noon on Thursday, May 22, 2014, at All Faiths Funeral Chapel, Janesville, with Reverend Mary Bielke, Cedar Crest Chaplain, officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral on Thursday at the chapel. Burial is in Oak Hill Cemetery, Janesville.
