Obituary for Pauline S. Pranke
Pauline Shirley Pranke, this woman with a feisty and strong-willed spirit, decided to leave this world to join her son, grandson and brother in heaven. Pauline, age 74, of Whitewater, WI, formerly of Janesville, died Thursday, August 11, 2016, at Atrium Post-Acute Care, Williams Bay. She was born on August 6, 1942, in Prairie Du Chien, WI, the daughter of Earl and Beulah (Peak) Wheeler. Pauline married Ivan Pranke, they later divorced. She enjoyed doing crafts and crossword puzzles.
Pauline is survived by three children: Mary Pranke of Clinton, IA; Mark Pranke of Carlsbad, NM; Omar (Molly) Pranke of Excelsior Springs, MO; six grandchildren; four great-granddaughters and another on the way; two sisters: Lois (Vincent) Boyle; Joyce Bierman; a brother, John (Sandy) Bierman; and daughter-in-law, Ann Pranke. In addition to her parents, Pauline was predeceased by a son, Martin Pranke, grandson, Darren Dallavalle, and brother, Louis Wheeler.
Memorial Services will be at 12 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2016, at TURNING POINT CHURCH, 2618 Mount Zion Ave., Janesville, with Pastor Tom Zillman officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the CHURCH on Friday. HANSEN FUNERAL HOME, Janesville, 608-752-8800, is assisting the family.
