Obituary for Robert L. Fisk, Jr.
Robert Lewis Fisk, Jr., age 81, of Janesville, died Tuesday, January 27, 2015, at Rock Haven Nursing Home, Janesville. Bob was born on March 15, 1933, in Beloit, WI, the son of Robert Lewis and Lula Magdalena (Mathews) Fisk, Sr. He married Mary E. Cassidy on February 21, 1972, in Janesville. Mary died May 18, 1984. Bob worked at a variety of jobs, including tending cattle, detailing automobiles and delivering newspapers. In his later years, he was known for riding his bicycle around Janesville and smoking a corn cob pipe.
Bob is survived by one sister, Genevieve Cavallino of Beloit.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 8, 2015, at Roxbury Road Church of Christ, 2103 Roxbury Road, Janesville, with Pastor Jon Grice officiating. Bob's cremated remains will be laid to rest alongside his wife, Mary, at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Janesville. Memorials may be made to the GIFTS Men's Shelter, PO Box 788, Janesville, WI, 53547-0788.
