Obituary for Harley Keith Ligman
Harley Keith Ligman, age 82, of Milton, WI, died peacefully on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Agrace Center for Hospice and Palliative Care in Janesville. Harley was born on January 4, 1932, in Rhinelander, WI, the son of Victor and Gladys (Neff) Ligman. Harley married Marlene Troon Antisdel on August 15, 1971, in Milton. Harley was a U.S. Navy veteran and worked most of his life as a carpenter. After retirement, he drove school bus for Riteway Bus Services in Milton. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Milton. In his spare time, Harley enjoyed restoring antiques and going to many auctions.
Survivors include his wife, Marlene Ligman of Milton; four children: Margo (Mike) Ballew of Tyler, TX; Scott (Nancy) Ligman of Walla Walla, WA; Bryan (Ming) Ligman of Marietta, GA; Todd (Darcy) Ligman of Janesville; three step-children: Beth Skinner of Milton; Susan Wendt (Wayne Christianson) of Sauk City, WI; Sheri (Cleland) GoodBear of Tomah, WI; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to his parents, Harley was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Diana Ligman, a grandson, Travis Ballew, and his brother, Bruce Ligman.
No services are planned at this time. Burial will take place at a later date at Milton Cemetery, Milton, WI. Memorials may be made to Agrace Hospice, 2901 N. Wright Rd, Janesville, WI, 53546.
