Obituary for Henry George Heinle, Jr.
Henry George Heinle, Jr., age 82, of Janesville, WI, died Tuesday morning, December 23, 2014, at his home surrounded by family and his beloved dog, Brutus. He was born on February 26, 1932, in Elkhorn, WI, the son of Henry George and Philomena Katherine (Wagner) Heinle, Sr. He married Shirley Mae Stibbe on September 2, 1950, in Dubuque, IA. Henry was predeceased by Shirley on October 29, 1995. He worked at General Motors for 36.9 years, retiring on April 1, 1990. Henry was a member of the Moose and Eagles clubs in Beloit and the Sons of AMVETS Post 32, Lakeland, FL. He was Governor of the Janesville Moose club and a member of the Moose Ritual Team. He was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed spending winters in Florida with his special friend, Mary Hanmer (deceased), her daughter, Ida, and family. Henry loved to play cards and always enjoyed a good laugh and having fun with friends and family.
Survivors include five daughters: Pamela (Gary) Gohde of Chandler, AZ; Patricia Hare (Dale Broten) of Mazomanie, WI; Constance (Gary) Carlson of Janesville; Jacqueline (Sean) Fleming of Milwaukie, OR; Virginia Colborn of Mesa, AZ; fourteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; a sister, Louise Bouton of Janesville; and a brother, Ralph (Caroline) Heinle of Boscobel, WI. In addition to his parents and his wife, Shirley, Henry was preceded in death by a sister, Lorraine (Edward) Sina, a brother, Edward (Marie) Heinle, and brother-in-law, Harold Bouton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 28, 2014, at St. William Catholic Church, 1822 Ravine Street, Janesville, with Fr. John Auby presiding. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Sunday at the church, with a Loyal Order of Moose prayer service at 1:30 p.m. Entombment will be at Milton Lawns Mausoleum in Janesville.
