Obituary for Marlene L. Ciano
Marlene Louise Ciano, age 64, of Janesville, died unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, October 12, 2016. Marlene was born on September 30, 1952, the daughter of Antonio and Bernadette L. (Bowman) Ciano, Jr. She was a 1970 graduate of Craig High School and married Craig Dennis that same year, they later divorced. She worked at Lear Seating as an assembler and later at Patch Products. Marlene was an avid NASCAR fan and loved attending races, especially with her twin brother, Marlin. She loved gardening and planted flowers that bloomed throughout the entire season. Marlene enjoyed the company of her beloved four-legged friend, Daisy, and loved to pamper her, even installing a special doorbell for Daisy to ring when she wanted to come inside.
Marlene is survived by two daughters: Angel (John) Goepfert of Janesville; Andrea (Dennis) Piche of Janesville; four grandchildren: Evan and August Goepfert, Madalyn Hall, Luke Dennis; three brothers: Jeffrey (Marilyn) Ciano of rural Milton; Terry Ciano of Janesville; her twin, Marlin (Sharon) Ciano of Poynette, WI; also nieces, nephews, friends and her dog, Daisy. Marlene was preceded in death by her parents.
A private memorial service for Marlene will be held. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Hansen Funeral Home, 211 S. Main St., Janesville, is assisting the family. Online condolences may be made at www.hansenfh.com
