Louise Susan Bouton, age 96, of Edgerton, Wisconsin, formerly of Janesville, died Friday, January 13, 2017, at Edgerton Care Center in Edgerton. Louise was born October 14, 1920, in Itasca, Illinois, the daughter of Henry George and Philomena Katherine (Wagner) Heinle, Sr. She grew up in the Elkhorn area, graduating from high school in 1938. Louise married Harold Albert Bouton on August 22, 1942, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Janesville. Harold preceded her in death on November 12, 2006. Louise worked as an office clerk at Montgomery Ward in Elkhorn and 12 years at Wisconsin Provision Company in Janesville, retiring in 1978. She was a member of St. William Catholic Church, the Catholic Council of Women, the Over 50 Club, the Sunrise Choir, RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) and volunteered for 16 years at Rock Haven.
Louise is survived by a son, Thomas (Patricia) Bouton of Janesville; two daughters: Mary Nokes of Cooksville, WI, and Theresa (Robert) Raufman of Milton, WI; eight grandchildren: Anthony Bouton, Irene Clark, Andrea Pena, Regina Halverson, Natasha Brockman, Kenneth Osborne, Rebecca Clark, Kelly Raufman; and 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Louise was predeceased by a grandson, Christopher Bouton, great-grandson, Mitchell Clark, her twin sister, Loraine Sina and three brothers, Edward, Ralph and Henry Heinle, Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at St. William Catholic Church, 456 N. Arch St., Janesville, with Fr. Brian Dulli presiding. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the church. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Janesville.
