Obituary for Ann Louise Becker
Ann Louise (Lindvig) Becker, age 57, of Janesville, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2015, at home with her family by her side after a long battle with cancer. Ann was born on February 5, 1957, the daughter of Norman and Margaret (Mossholder) Lindvig, in Viroqua, WI. She graduated from Westby High School in 1975 and Blackhawk Tech in 1976. Ann married Thomas J. Becker of Kenosha on May 3, 1981, at Westby Coon Prairie Church. They lived in Kenosha until 1990, when they moved to Janesville. Ann was employed by Oak Manufacturing, U-Haul Inc., and Alliant Energy, retiring after 14 years of service. Family and friends were Ann's passion, she looked forward to seeing all the kids every day and needed that "baby fix" to keep going. She volunteered at church, cooking for soup-suppers and special events. Ann liked to bake, play canasta and bingo, and make blankets. She enjoyed vacation time with family.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas; her son TJ; sisters: Barb Nelson and Laura Juno, all of Janesville; brothers- and sisters-in-law: David (Lorma) Becker of Glenmore, PA; Roberta Becker, Suzanne Chapman, Harley (Kathy) Becker, John Becker, Jerry (Dottie) Becker, Donny (Kathy) Becker, Marilyn (Paul) Borger, all of Kenosha County; along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ann was predeceased by two brothers-in-law, Robert Nelson and Blaine "Butch" Juno.
A Memorial Service will be held at noon on Saturday, January 24, 2015, at Faith Lutheran Church, 2116 Mineral Point Ave., Janesville, with Pastor David Andert officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the services on Saturday at the church. The family is being assisted by Hansen Funeral Home, 608-752-8800, Janesville.
