Obituary for Kathy Mae Vickers
Kathy Mae Vickers, age 57, of Janesville, WI, died early Monday morning on December 29, 2014, at home. She was born on April 23, 1957, in Otsego, MI, the daughter of Harry and Charlotte (Jordan) Culver, Sr. Kathy married Charles Oldel Vickers on November 27, 1977, in Chicago, IL. She had been employed at Best Western Motel for ten years.
Survivors include her husband, Charles of Janesville; five children: Virginia "Ginger" Stewart, Anna (Christopher Williams) Vickers, Katherine Pardon, Amanda (Scott) Nelson, Charles Vickers, all of Janesville; eighteen grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Philip Johnson. In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Culver, Jr., two sisters, Melva Johnson and Pam Greer, and a brother-in-law, Luther Greer.
A visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, January 2, 2015, at All Faiths Funeral Chapel, Janesville. The family is being assisted by Hansen Funeral Home, Janesville, 608-752-8800. Online condolences may be made at www.hansenfh.com
