Obituary for Lucille Marie Brunhoefer
Lucille Marie Brunhoefer, age 84, of Janesville, WI, died Friday, November 21, 2014, at Our House Senior Living in Janesville. Lucille was born January 4, 1930, in Janesville, the daughter of Raymond Richard and Mary Josephine (Hayes) Unrine, Sr. She was a graduate of Janesville High School. Lucille married Donald Francis Brunhoefer, Sr., May 5, 1951, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Janesville. Don preceded Lucille in death on January 1, 1991. Lucille was a member of the Women of the Moose, St. Mary Catholic Church, and enjoyed water-walking at the YMCA.
Survivors include three sons: Donald (Linda) Brunhoefer, Jr., Michael (Mary Ann) Brunhoefer, and Greg (Joan) Brunhoefer, all of Janesville; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one sister, Katherine Sheldon of Rockford, IL; three brothers: Raymond (Darlene) Unrine, Jr. of Janesville, Anthony Unrine of Memphis, TN, and Andrew (Debbie) Unrine of Ralston, WY. In addition to her parents and her husband, Don, Lucille was predeceased by a son, Vincent, and a brother, William.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon on Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 313 E. Wall St., Janesville, with Fr. Stephen Umhoefer presiding. Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the services on Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Janesville. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin, 222 S. Arch St, Janesville, WI, 53548.
