Obituary for Susan Madeline Schimek Alt
Susan Madeline Schimek Alt, age 45, of Menomonee Falls, WI, formerly of Janesville, died Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at home. Susan was born in Janesville on July 24, 1968, the daughter of Charles Edward and Catherine Jean (Buchholz) Schimek. She was employed as a Craftsman Welder in the Milwaukee area for many years. Susan enjoyed traveling to warm beaches and hiking in the Rocky Mountains with family. She also enjoyed freehand drawing, American motorcycling and collecting wolf memorabilia.
Survivors include her son, Dana Teepe of Fort Atkinson, WI; her father, Charlie (Donna) Schimek of Marion, IA; two sisters: Laureen (Robert) Scarborough of Janesville, WI; Alese (Paul) Larson of New Hope, MN; two brothers: Daniel (Theresa) Schimek of Woodland Park, CO; Douglas Schimek of Wallace, MI; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Susan was predeceased by her mother, Catherine, and a nephew, Jesse Charles Scarborough.
